The purpose of our work is to bring to attention the continued denial of the Armenian Genocide by the government of Turkey and to show the resilience of the Armenian spirit while facing the constant denial of the Armenian Genocide. Alpha Epsilon Omega believes that the only way to prevent future genocide is to acknowledge, recognize, and learn from past genocides. By doing so, the perpetrators of genocide will understand the consequences of committing crimes against humanity. The awareness wristbands are a permanent reminder that history, if not accounted for, can and will repeat itself. Funds raised through the Never-Again™ Campaign will be donated to organizations that will help raise awareness, educate and achieve recognition on the issue of the Armenian Genocide.
